The Shimla Court has ordered the demolition of illegally constructed 3 floors of the 5-storeyed Sanjauli mosque within the next 2 months.
On September 28, the local administration had demolished several illegal structures like mosques, dargahs, tombs etc. standing on the Government land at Gir Somnath.
Municipal Corporation had sent notices to all such illegal places of worship; but they were ignored. Hence, the Municipal Corporation has started this action.
Hindus have not tried to reclaim the glorious structures built by their ancestors, and getting them back is a distant possibility !
When the BJP is in power in Uttar Pradesh, it is unthinkable for the police to build the wall of an illegal mosque. This is not expected by Hindus !
During an interview with ‘Zee News’ on September 28, Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis emphasised that the administration will take further action if the illegal mosque is not demolished within the given timeframe.
It is shameful for the administration that Hindu organisations have to protest to remove an illegal mosque.

The protest that began in Shimla further spread to cities like Mandi, Solan, Palampur, Bilaspur, Sunni, and Nerwa.
