Shahjahanpur (UP) – Thousands of Muslims took to the streets to protest after information emerged that pages of the Islamic religious book, the Quran, had been torn and thrown on the road. The incident took place on the night of April 3. Police reached the spot and pacified the protesters. Police traced the accused through CCTV footage and arrested him. His name is Nazim; the police claimed him to be mentally ill.
