Saudi Arabia bans Iftar in mosques, Controls Azaan volume

According to this order, the use of loudspeakers in religious and public places has been banned.
The Court said that the Azaan is only for 5 to 10 minutes, and it is human voice which cannot cross permitted decibel.
This action has been taken at the religious places of all faiths but it is said that the number of mosques is the highest. This campaign will continue till 22nd December.
A large number of loudspeakers have been removed from lots of mosques. The above action was taken after it was found that a large number of these loudspeakers violated the permissible decibel level.
Recording decibels and noise pollution only during Hindu festivals, and overlooking the noise pollution caused throughout the year by mosque loudspeakers is a clear case of discrimination.
All Hindus suffer due to the azan from loudspeakers 5 times a day. We too suffered for a while. We realized that it wasn’t in our power to stop it. So we decided to challenge it.
The concerned department has been given orders to take strict action with respect to the observation of the rules regarding sound levels.
In a circular issued by Dr Abdullatif Al-Alsheikh, Saudi Minister of Islamic affairs, stated that all branches of the Ministry must ensure compliance with the guidelines issued for the holy month of Ramzan.
Hindus want current BJP-ruled State Governments to remove loudspeakers from the mosques across those States.
