A Muslim woman marries a Hindu man and forces him to circumcise

Even attempted circumcision of a 4-month-old baby

Lucknow – Rajkumar (24), a resident of Meera Sarai in the state, married a Muslim woman named Afroz (23) from Shekhupur on August 4, 2023. The couple also has a 4-month-old son. However, allegations have now surfaced that Afroz is pressuring her husband to convert to Islam. The young man claims that Afroz and her relatives are pressuring him to undergo circumcision, as well as to have their 4-month-old son circumcised. He stated, “I do not want to convert to Islam, nor will I allow my son to convert.” He has approached the police seeking protection. Rajkumar works as a cook.

1.After the marriage, the woman’s family began pressuring Rajkumar to convert to Islam. He was taken to a mosque, where he was forced to perform namaz (Islamic prayers) and made to eat beef. When he resisted, Afroz divorced him. However, the couple later reconciled and started living together again in 2024.

2.During a visit to his in-laws’ house for Eid, Rajkumar saw his wife’s relatives feeding beef to their child. When he objected, Afroz called a maulana (Islamic cleric) and other relatives, and again pressured Rajkumar to convert to Islam and attempted to circumcise him. At that point, Rajkumar fled the scene with his child.
