Mysuru (Karnataka) – A mosque in Mysuru was closed after BJP worker Raju was murdered in March 2016. BJP leader and former MP Pratap Singh, while talking to reporters, expressed his determination that the mosque will not be allowed to open so easily now.He has directly challenged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on this.

BJP worker Raju died

Pratap Singh further added….,

1. During Siddaramaiah’s previous tenure as Chief Minister, the investigation of 175 cases registered against 1,600 fanatic Muslim goons involved in the riots was abruptly closed after he became the Chief Minister. He is running a government like the Taliban by withdrawing all these cases.

2. There were incidents of killings of devout Hindus like the murder of Kuttappa in Kodagu (November 2015), the murder of Raju in Mysore (March 2016), the murder of Rudresh in Bengaluru (October 2016), etc. It was only after the murder of Raja that the controversial mosque in Mysore was closed. Now that Siddaramaiah has come back to power, efforts are being made to open the closed mosque.

3. A meeting has been called at the Collectorate to discuss the matter. Pratap Singh strongly criticized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, saying that it was wrong to build a mosque on the residential land.”Do you want to consider only the votes of Muslims? Don’t you want the votes of other people?”, Pratap Singh has also asked the Chief Minister.
