Indian-origin Democratic Party Congressman Raja Krishnamurthy has condemned this.Raja Krishnamurthy said that the India-US partnership is essential to counter China’s military and economic aggression. In such a situation, this agreement could put unnecessary strain on US-India relations.

The friendship between the US and India is strong; but the new taxes will increase the costs of American families. This will put an additional burden on American and Indian businesses. Therefore, Trump should withdraw the taxes imposed on India.
