Congress MP from Ludhiana, Ravneet Singh Bittu said that they were tired of the agitation.
The Police apprehended five terrorists from the city’s Shakarpur area after an encounter. A large arms cache and other incriminating material have also been recovered from them.
Some organisations are helping farmers in Punjab and Haryana who are protesting against 3 Agriculture Acts, on the border.

On 6th of December, a large demonstration was held outside the Indian High Commission here, in support of the farmers protesting in Delhi. Khalistani flags were waved and anti-India slogans were raised by the protesters.
Congress has taken the decision to participate in the 8th Dec Bharat Bandh announced by farmers.
Sunni Waqf Board has also been invited to attend the Bhoomi Pujan of Ram temple ceremony in Ayodhya on 5th August. The invitation has been sent to president of the Board- Zafar Farukhi, Social worker in Ayodhya- Mohammad Sharif, Babari Masjid Litigant- Iqbal Ansari.
Religious fanatics in Lahore, Pakistan, proclaimed an ancient Shahid Ganj Bhai Taru Singh Ji Gurudwara as a Masjid and warned Sikhs not to enter the Gurudwara.
