Statement by Annamalai, former Tamil Nadu BJP leader who resigned from the party

Chennai (Tamil Nadu): “I am a proud Indian, a nationalist and a Hindu. However, whenever I step out of my house, I leave my caste and religion behind within the four walls of my home. A true Hindu treats everyone equally and never uses language that makes anyone feel superior or inferior. A true Hindu will always say that everyone should move forward together on the same path,” said Annamalai, former BJP leader from Tamil Nadu who resigned from the party and is the founder of the organisation ‘We the Leaders’.
Pollachi: Former Tamil Nadu BJP Chief Annamalai states that a 'true Hindu' is one who treats everyone with equality, adding that there is no need to constantly display one's religion.
