Case registered against husband and wife for propagating Christianity at Sassoon General Hospital, Pune

Deliberately insulted Hindu Dharma !

Pune – A case has been registered at Bund Garden Police Station against husband and wife Sunil Varghese and Pratima Sunil Varghese for propagating Christianity by distributing pamphlets titled ‘Krupasanam’ to patients, their relatives, and Warkaris who had come for treatment at Sassoon General Hospital. While claiming that Christianity is superior to Hindu Dharma, they distributed the pamphlets and told people, “If you pray to Jesus, you will recover sooner.” The complaint in this case was lodged by Rishikesh Pandey.

On 10 July, Pandey had gone to Sassoon General Hospital with his friends. At that time, the husband and wife were distributing pamphlets titled ‘Krupasanam’ in front of the OPD (Outpatient Department).
They were telling people, “If you pray to Jesus, you will recover sooner than through medical treatment.” The pamphlet contained testimonies claiming that prayers to Jesus had cured many illnesses, helped people obtain jobs, and blessed couples with children.

They were also telling the Warkaris, who had come for treatment from the Sant Dnyaneshwar Mauli and Jagadguru Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi processions, that “Christianity is superior to other religions.”
Pandey has alleged that the couple deliberately insulted Hindu Dharma, spoke abusively about it, and propagated Christianity by deceiving people with false assurances.

Editorial Perspective

Those propagating Christianity in India no longer fear the law, which is why they openly criticise Hindu Dharma. Only strict action against such people will bring them to heel !
