If Congress truly cares about Muslims, then make a Muslim the national president of the party!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s challenge to Congress

Hisaar (Haryana) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public gathering here, challenged the Congress party by saying, “If Congress genuinely cares so much for Muslims, then they should appoint a Muslim as the national president of the party. They should also give 50% of their tickets in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha elections to Muslim candidates. If they win, they can voice their opinions — but the truth is, Congress has no intention of doing that.”

Congress’s appeasement politics has brought no real benefit to Muslims!

Prime Minister Modi further stated that Congress has never had the intention to work for anyone’s genuine welfare — and that includes Muslims. This is the true face of Congress. Its politics of appeasement has done Muslims no good; in fact, it has harmed them. Congress chose to appease a handful of extremists, while the rest of the community was left behind — facing poverty, illiteracy, and hardship.

Waqf Reform Law to Benefit Poor Muslims

Prime Minister Modi stated that lakhs of hectares of land are registered under Waqf. Had the benefits of these properties been extended to needy Muslims, they would have truly gained from it. Instead, land mafias took advantage of these assets. Now, with the Waqf Reform Law, the exploitation of the poor will come to an end. The new provisions will ensure that poor Muslims, especially women and widows, receive the rightful benefits.
