During the meeting, Mr Chetan Rajhans briefly informed the Governor about the activities of Sanatan Sanstha and also invited him to visit Sanatan’s Ashram at Ramnathi in Goa.
The award included a memento, the Maa Patan Devi Honour Medal and a Certificate.
This protest was held on 13 February at Rajaram Bridge, Sinhagad Road. Many patriotic citizens and devout Hindus were present for this protest.
A memorandum with these demands was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Mr. Pratap Sarnaik, the guardian minister of Dharashiv District on 10.12.2025 at Vidhan Bhavan.
This voluntary drive is growing in size every year and has become a big movement for creating awakening amongst Hindus.
No action has been taken even after 13 years since the riots. In case the accused don’t own any property, severe action should be taken by filing criminal cases against them.
The HJS said that in 1990, 90 thousand Hindus were killed, and 4.5 lakh Kashmiri Hindus were forcibly displaced in a similar manner.
On the day of the march, some organisations opposing the name expansion submitted a memorandum to the District Collector, while some organisations protested at Shivaji University.
Mr Anandrao Kashid stated that different organisations of fort- lovers, committees associated with outdoor games, their members, history researchers have extended support to this march.
