On this incident, BJP MP Khagen Murmu said that this is a concerning situation.
The group, which included women and children, was apprehended from a guest house in Aryanagar.
BJP MLA Bishal Lama said regarding these infiltrators that the previous Government had sheltered illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas because they were its vote bank. Now, they have realised the consequences of entering another country without proper documents.

Hindus alleged that the Police were accepting bribes and protecting Bangladeshi infiltrators conducting business in Bhattipada.
According to Mohar Mondal, President of the local organisation ‘Bhukha Manusher Adhikar Abhiyan’, most of those arriving for verification are from six districts of Bangladesh and had entered India illegally.
The investigations have revealed that the infiltrators have entered sectors like garbage collection flower-fruit vendors, fast-food stalls, hair cutting salons, hawkers, etc.
The issue of illegal immigrants has once again created serious diplomatic and military tension.
Bangladesh has strongly protested such incidents.
