Nine Bangladeshi infiltrators arrested in Bengal !

Murshidabad (Bengal) – Police arrested nine Bangladeshi nationals from the Bhagwangola railway station area as part of an anti-infiltration operation.

1. According to the Police, all the arrested infiltrators had been working in different parts of India and were preparing to return to Bangladesh through an illegal route.

2. Cases have been registered against all the accused, and legal proceedings have been initiated against them.

3. Investigating agencies are probing how these Bangladeshi nationals entered India, how long they had been staying in India, and who had provided them with shelter.

4. According to Police officials, the involvement of a large illegal infiltration racket or a human trafficking network in this case cannot be ruled out. The investigation is proceeding along these lines, and further legal action will be taken as required after the investigation is completed.

The Government should also take stringent action against those who provide shelter and assistance to Bangladeshi infiltrators.
