M.P. : Convent school pressurises Hindu librarian to convert !

Job terminated for refusing !

Central government should enact a law against conversion and strive for the strict action against such people !

Convent schools are becoming the centres of religious conversion. To stop this, it is essential that government takes appropriate action against them !

Khajuraho (M.P.) – Librarian Ruby Singh, a Hindu, has filed a complaint against Sister Bhagya, principal of Sacred Heart Convent High School for pressurising her to convert. The school is run by the Catholic Church. Police have registered charges against Sr Bhagya. The complaint says that, Ruby Singh’s salary was stopped and she was pressurised to convert. Sr Bhagya even insulted Hindu Dharma. As Singh is poor,  Sr Bhagya offered to increase her salary and make her services permanent in the school if she converted. When Ruby Singh refused to convert her serviced were terminated . She was working in the school on contract basis for the past 4 years. After Hindu activists received information in this regard they accompanied her to the police station to register a complaint.

Meanwhile Maria Stephen, public relation officer of the Madhya Pradesh Catholic Church said that the convent schools are being targeted. She claimed that Ruby Singh was dismissed only after they received complaints against her from the students and their parents. She was also given a warning  but there was no change in her behaviour.
