Minor Hindu girl from Etawah (Uttar Pradesh) targeted in a plot to take her to Qatar for religious conversion

Police detain five Muslims

Etawah (Uttar Pradesh) – Police have registered a case and detained five people in connection with an alleged plot to take a 13-year-old minor Hindu girl to Qatar for religious conversion. They are currently being questioned.

According to the complaint lodged by the girl’s father at the Police Station, his daughter used to attend dance classes. During this period, she became acquainted with a Muslim woman. Through this woman, some Muslim young men came into contact with the girl and began pressuring her to undergo religious conversion. Messages regarding plans to take the girl to Doha (Qatar) for her religious conversion were sent to her mobile phone.
