Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has been repeatedly speaking about the alleged theft of donations at the Shri Ram Temple. However, the reality is that whenever the Samajwadi Party was in power in Uttar Pradesh, scams worth billions of rupees took place in Waqf Board lands, alleged Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi Bareilvi, National President of the All India Muslim Jamaat, Bareilly, at a press conference.

He further stated, “Only individuals favoured by the then Minority Affairs, Waqf and Hajj Minister Azam Khan were appointed as Chairman and members of the Sunni Waqf Board. Members and office-bearers of the Board parcelled out Waqf lands in their respective areas and misused the properties. If a proper investigation of the Waqf Board is conducted, a scam even larger than the alleged theft of donations at the Shri Ram Temple will come to light.”
In this regard, Maulana Bareilvi has written to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath demanding an impartial investigation into the entire matter.
