If you want to do politics, take off your uniforms and participate in the elections : Maulana Fazlur Rehman

Head of ‘Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl' party challenges Pakistani army

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Pakistan’s army should remain within the constitutional limits. If you want to do politics, then take off your uniform and participate in the elections. This will show how many votes people give to those in uniform, said Maulana (Islamic scholar) Fazlur Rehman, head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl party, while addressing a meeting in Kasur, Punjab.

The Pakistani government has no control over Balochistan

On Pakistan’s security situation, Fazlur Rehman said that the country is falling apart. Where are the rulers? There was an insurgency in the Baloch region. The entire region was out of Pakistan’s control. Even today, there is no control or governance by the Pakistani government there. This deteriorating security situation has now spread to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Soldiers who lay down their lives for the country are paid salaries

People say that our youth are becoming martyrs. Your young men wear uniforms for that very purpose. They are paid to protect the country. Why are you imposing your blood debt on me? You are taking your salary from the taxes earned from our hard work and sweat.
