Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – A case has come to light alleging that Hindus were being converted at the Darul Uloom Rahimiya madarasa in Phulat village. The case has now taken a new turn. Nazia, the divorced wife of Junaid Ansari, the son of the madarasa’s director, Maulana Hafizur Rahman Ansari, met senior Police officials at the Police Headquarters and informed them about how Hindus were allegedly being converted at the madarasa. She also made serious allegations that women were being sexually exploited there and that foreign funding was being used to finance the conversion activities.

1. A criminal case has already been registered under serious sections of the law at the Ratanpuri Police Station against the madarasa’s director, Maulana Hafizur Rahman Ansari, and his son, Junaid Ansari, in connection with allegations of religious conversion.
2. Speaking to the media, Nazia alleged that women who came to the madarasa were sexually exploited and then blackmailed into converting to Islam.
3. According to Nazia, the gang has been active for the past 10–12 years. She alleged that it first lured Hindu young men and women to the madarasa on various pretexts and by offering inducements. Hidden cameras were then allegedly used to record obscene videos of them. These videos were later used to threaten them and force them to convert to Islam. Anyone who refused to convert was allegedly threatened that the videos would be made public.
The madarasa director’s family itself is the conversion gang !
Nazia alleged that the gang involved in converting Hindus included her former husband, Junaid Ansari; her father-in-law, Maulana Hafizur Rahman Ansari; her brothers-in-law, Zubair and Ubaid; her nephew, Imran; Mujammil, the son-in-law of Ansari; and several others. She said that the gang had been active for a long time and had targeted many people.
Narcotic drugs sold under the guise of Unani medicines !
She further alleged that the gang sold narcotic drugs under the guise of Unani and Ayurvedic medicines. Such substances were allegedly supplied in small medicine bottles while being presented as medicinal products.

Mahant Swami Yashveerji Maharaj of Yog Sadhana Ashram was the first to allege that religious conversions were taking place at the Phulat madarasa. In a video message, he said, “The issue of religious conversions at the Phulat madarasa, which I had first raised, has now been reinforced by the madarasa director’s divorced daughter-in-law, who has openly levelled several serious allegations. In these circumstances, the entire matter should be investigated impartially and thoroughly so that the truth can come to light.”
