Jarange has been observing the indefinite fast at his native Antarwali Sarati village in Jalna District of Maharashtra demanding inclusion of the Maratha community into the Other Backward Class (OBC) grouping.
After the midnight discussion on 26th January, the amended ordinance of all their demands has been implemented by the State Government.
Now the BJP Government in the State is planning to delist the Kuki community from the Scheduled Tribes category.
