1. Vishnu Manohar and Principal Advisor of LIT University Mohan Pandey are the members of the temple committee and will serve as coordinators in India.
2. According to Vishnu Manohar, there are ISKCON, Akshardham and Balaji temples abroad; but there is no Shri Vitthal temple which has a rich Saintly tradition.
3. Mohan Pandey said that although it is possible to carry the Padukas of Shri Vitthal directly by plane, it has been decided to travel on foot as per the Varkari tradition. Procession will travel 18,000 kilometres in 70 days. Rajendra Shelke, Executive Officer of Vitthal-Rukmini Temple Committee of Pandharpur, President Gahininath Maharaj Ausekar and Chaitanya Utpat have cooperated for this initiative.
