‘Chinese citizens fighting on Russia’s side in the war against Ukraine’ : Zelenskyy alleges

Zelenskyy informs that 2 Chinese citizens were arrested earlier

Kyiv (Ukraine) –“Russia is recruiting Chinese citizens into its army through social media. Ukraine’s intelligence agency has identified 155 Chinese citizens fighting on Russia’s side. The number could be higher. The names and passport details of all those identified are available with Ukraine,” stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He had earlier claimed to have captured two Chinese citizens.

Zelenskyy further said, “China is also aware of this. We are trying to find out whether the recruiters are receiving instructions from China. Identity cards, bank cards, etc. have been seized from the arrested Chinese citizens. A video of them has also been released.” Russia has not commented on this matter.

Russia is dragging China into war

Zelenskyy further said that Russia is dragging China into this war. This is part of Putin’s plan. Putin wants to spread the war to Europe.

China rejects Zelenskyy’s claim

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said that there is no truth in Zelenskyy’s claim. The Chinese Government has always urged citizens to stay away from war zones and not participate in any kind of fight. China is obtaining full information related to this matter through talks with Ukraine.

China encourages Russia to go to war : USA

US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said on the issue that China is a supporter of Russia and is encouraging war. Russia has previously supplied China with drone parts and micro-electronics; but the military presence is surprising.
