Various pro-Hindu organisations came together and held protests in front of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam at Himayat Nagar and a protest march was taken out up to the Basheerbagh Circle.
The protest that began in Shimla further spread to cities like Mandi, Solan, Palampur, Bilaspur, Sunni, and Nerwa.
The Ganesh mandal moved forward with few returned boards to save trouble for other Ganesh mandals.
