Amazon Prime has tendered an unconditional apology over the blasphemous representation of Hindu Deities in its Tandav web series. It has also said on record that such scenes have been either deleted or edited.
New guidelines for OTT functioning soon : I&B Minister
Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Kavadekar on 1st February announced that they are ‘soon’ going to make a major announcement regarding the ‘functioning’ of OTT platforms in India.

Apurva Rahatiya and Shashank Shekhar had filed a petition in the Supreme Court of India seeking a directive to the government to set up an independent board to monitor and regulate the OTT apps.
