New Delhi – The Supreme Court will on 4th March adjourned its hearing on the plea of Amazon Prime Video’s India head Aparna Purohit, who challenged the Allahabad High Court’s order cancelling her anticipatory bail plea. Uttar Pradesh Police had filed FIRs against Purohit over the web series ‘Tandav’. The Amazon official has been accused of an inappropriate depiction of Uttar Pradesh Police personnel and Hindu Deities and an adverse portrayal of a character playing the Prime Minister in the web series.
