New Delhi – ‘People of all age groups use OTT platform (online medium for watching movies etc.). Therefore, the broadcasters of these platforms have been asked not to let their platform be used for wrong things’, Anurag Thakur, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, said. He gave this information through a tweet after interacting with the representatives of OTT Platforms.
Thakur further said that the Government will not allow Indian culture and society to be insulted under the guise of creative expression. All the OTT platforms were instructed to curb the propagation of vulgarity and abuse on the web series being aired on their platforms. (It is necessary to make a law to curb this instead of just instructing verbally ! – Editor)
