Nagpur (Maharashtra) – Abuse and obscenity in the name of creativity on OTT platforms will not be tolerated, warned the Minister for Union Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur at a press conference. He further said that the Government is seriously looking into the increasing number of complaints in this regard. In case the rules have to be changed to accommodate this, then the Government will surely consider it. This forum is for creative freedom and not for obscenity.

There must be a ‘Censor Board’ for OTT platforms, only then can such incidents be prevented. The Government should act in this regard.
