Bihar to pay salary to Govt. employees, before time on the eve of Eid
The Bihar Government will pay salary for May from 20th May to all Government employees. This was decided on the eve of Eid.
Separate TV channel for each standard – Union Finance Minister Sitharaman
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced in the press conference held on 17th May that the Union Government is taking proactive measures to promote digital platforms for education. One earmarked TV channel for each standard will also be a part of this. At present, there are 3 such channels, to which another 12 channels will be added.
Canteens of Central Armed Police Forces to sell only indigenous products – Central Govt
The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that all the canteens and stores of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) will sell only indigenous products. This order will be effective from 1st June 2020 for all CAPF canteens.
Air India to operate domestic flights between 19th May and 2nd June
Air India is going to start domestic flights starting from 19th May, to be continued until 2nd June to help the passengers who are stranded due to lockdown reach home. These flights will operate between different cities of the country.
