‘Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force’ in Uttar Pradesh established

Rights to arrest anyone without warrant

Lucknow (U.P.) – The Uttar Pradesh government has set up a new special security force called ‘Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force’. This security force will have the same powers as the ‘Central Industrial Security Force’ (CISF). This security force is empowered to conduct an investigation without warrant and arrest anyone. This new security force will be deployed to protect the state high courts, district courts, administrative offices, pilgrimage centers, metros, airports, banks, financial institutions and industrial institutions. 1,700 crore rupees will be spent for 5 battalions of this security force, which includes salary, allowances and other facilities.
