Raipur (Chhattisgarh) – Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr Vishnu Deo Sai has given an important assurance that the State Government will extend every possible assistance to Sanatan Sanstha to preserve spiritually significant artefacts and structures at various pilgrimage sites, sacred rivers, and ancient locations across the State for future generations.

Recently, Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal and Shrichitshakti (Mrs.) Anjali Gadgil, the spiritual successors to Sanatan Sanstha’s founder, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale, met Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr Vishnu Deo Sai. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the preservation of cultural heritage. It was on this occasion that the Chief Minister gave the assurance.

Devotees to be given darshan of the sacred fragments of the Somnath Shivalinga

About a thousand years ago, Mahmud of Ghazni destroyed the historic Sorathi Somnath Shivalinga. Fortunately, some sacred fragments of the Shivalinga have survived to this day. The Chief Minister also responded positively to a proposal to organise a special event in Chhattisgarh under the Union Government’s ‘Somnath Swabhiman Parva’ campaign so that devotees in the State may have darshan of these sacred fragments of the Somnath Shivalinga, which are said to possess unique magnetic properties. He assured full cooperation from the State Government for the initiative.

During the meeting, the Hon’ble Chief Minister showed keen interest in learning about Sanatan Sanstha’s work across the country for the welfare of the nation and Dharma, as well as the various spiritual research activities conducted at the Sanatan Ashram in Goa.
