They were attempting to make a bomb !

Government lawyer P R Dantani said that one of the accused had attempted to make a time bomb; however, their attempt failed.

The Anti-Terrorism Squad is now investigating where the bomb-making materials were procured from and where they were hidden. The police are also yet to seize the bomb-making materials and Jaish-e-Mohammed literature written in Urdu. They are also investigating where the jihadi books were obtained from and where they have been kept.

Editorial Perspective

Instead of keeping such people in prison and feeding them, the government should make efforts to ensure that they are tried in a fast-track court and awarded the death penalty !
