New Delhi – The chargesheet submitted by the Police Administration in the case of the 20th February riots in Dehli, includes the names of Sitaram Yechury, General Secretary of the Marxist Communist Party, Yogendra Yadav, former AAP Party and current leader of Swaraj Abhiyan, Professor of Dehli University and human rights activist Apoorvanand, economist Jayanthi Ghosh and short film producer Rahul Roy, etc. Apart from this, the names of the students of the disputed JNU And Jamia Millia Islamia University of Dehli, are also included in this charge sheet.

This charge sheet states that all of them had made a provocative statement, opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act of the Central Government. Along with this, saying the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Citizenship Registration (NRC) is anti-Muslim and provoking Muslim society by this propaganda, and also organised the protest agitations to tarnish the image of the Central Government. Fifty-three people died in this riot and 581 people were injured.
