Sanatan’s Ashrams are vast sources of Chaitanya
Sanatan’s Ashrams are vast sources of Chaitanya (Divine consciousness), created from Gurudev’s spiritual vision. They serve as energy centres that inspire seekers who strive for God-realisation, as well as those engaged in the mission of protecting the Nation and creating awareness about Dharma in society. Self-discipline, systematic organisation, promptness in satseva, humility, love amongst seekers, and sattvikata in the Ashrams make them true replicas of Ram Rajya (‘Hindu Rashtra’) of the future.

Gurudev’s objective in establishing the Ashrams
Gurudev established the Ashrams so that seekers have an environment conducive for full-time spiritual practice. At present, about 800 seekers in Sanatan’s Ashrams at Ramnathi (Ponda, Goa), Devad (Panvel, Maharashtra) & Miraj (Sangli, Maharashtra) are pursuing spiritual practice.

Seekers living like one family
One of the most striking features of these Ashrams is that seekers from different age groups and castes live together joyfully and harmoniously. Despite the unprecedented rise of caste-based discrimination in today’s India, the caste-neutrality observed in Sanatan’s Ashrams is remarkable. The Ashrams thus function as a single family of hundreds of members. Through the Ashrams, Gurudev has practically demonstrated that with the goal of God-realisation, a unified society can be created, and the spiritual experience of Ram Rajya can be obtained.
Activities of protecting the Nation and bringing about awakening on Dharma in Sanatan’s Ashrams
Sanatan Ashram, Ramnathi, Ponda, Goa : This Ashram is the result of the blessings of Dr Jayant Athavale’s Guru Saint Bhaktaraj Maharaj in 1993.
Today, the Ramnathi Ashram is the headquarter of Sanatan Sanstha. Ancient Sages guide Sanatan through the medium of Nadipatti Readings. As per the guidance through these Nadipattis, Idols of Deities and Dharmik symbols have been established in the Ashram. Further, due to the Holy presence of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale – who, as glorified by the Sages, is an Incarnation of Shri Vishnu – Sanatan’s Ramnathi Ashram has become a pilgrimage centre.

Here, the student-priests are trained in the knowledge required for performing priestly duties and are taught how to perform these as spiritual practice. These priests conduct religious rituals and Yajnas in the Yajnashala for the protection of Dharma.
