Importance of the perspectives given in Daily Sanatan Prabhat

The Daily Sanatan Prabhat, which conveys the samashti thoughts of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale, is a gross-level medium striving to provide seekers with the right perspectives, thus, assisting them in samashti sadhana (Spiritual practice for the spread of Spirituality) and guiding them on the path of progress. In this context, I had a discussion with Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale during a satsang. The points from that discussion and my reflections are presented here.

Newspapers have the power to convey the philosophy of ideological transformation. From its very inception, Sanatan Prabhat propagated the concept of the Divine Rule (‘Hindu Rashtra’). Twenty-six years ago, even uttering ‘Hindu Rashtra’ was considered an unspoken offence. In such times, if anyone truly established the terms ‘Divine Rule’ and ‘Hindu Rashtra’ in society, it was Sanatan Prabhat.

From the beginning, Sanatan Prabhat has nurtured ideological commitment towards the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. The very motto of Sanatan Prabhat is – ‘Committed to establishing the Hindu Rashtra – Sanatan Prabhat !’ From this, one can understand that Sanatan Prabhat has always remained committed to the ‘Hindu Rashtra’.

According to the significance of times, the time for establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ has now come close. Awakening Kshatratej (Radiance of a warrior) in society for it is an essential task. For the past 26 years, ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ has been performing this ideological task all round the year. Until the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is established, Sanatan Prabhat will resolutely fulfil the duty of awakening Kshatratej.

Mr Prashant Koyande

1. The Daily that conveys the samashti thoughts of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale knows through which Path of satseva one will progress spiritually and obtain Anand (Bliss); therefore, He guides individuals to perform satseva and sadhana (Spiritual practice). For the past 26 years, I have been performing satseva related to the Daily Sanatan Prabhat. Satseva changes for many seekers; however, my satseva has never changed.
The Daily is a medium that conveys Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale’s samashti thoughts. Through it, efforts are made to launch ideological attacks against assaults on the Nation & Dharma; besides, Hindus are also being awakened through it.

While performing this satseva and reflecting upon the perspectives given on the news, the seeker begins to think more deeply at the samashti level. I too have been making such efforts for the past 26 years. Some points realised through this are given here.

2. Studying the perspectives in the Daily is necessary for sadhana

A. The perspectives in the Daily are not only for society but for every seeker : From the perspectives taught by Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale through the medium of the Daily, one immediately understands the wrong happenings in society and what should ideally happen.

The Daily and the perspectives given in it are not only for the readers in society but for every seeker. If seekers contemplate on these, they can understand where they are going wrong at the samashti level and what the correct action should be. This can help them perform samashti sadhana more effectively. This calls for reading the articles related to vyashti sadhana (Individual spiritual practice that benefits only the seeker performing it) in the Daily, along with the news and the articles related to the Nation & Dharma.

B. Seekers shouldering various responsibilities should study more deeply the perspectives given for various components of society : These perspectives are especially beneficial for seekers who shoulder responsibilities. Through the perspectives, it is explained what mistakes are being committed by the various components of society shouldering responsibilities such as the Government, administration, Police, Courts, what they should ideally do, and what strict punishment they should get for their wrongdoings.

As part of their sadhana, seekers should study and contemplate where do they stand in such matters – could they have taken correct action in such situations, are they doing justice to the satseva they have been entrusted with in the proper manner and so on. At the same time, if they feel that they lack the ability to perform the satseva obtained by the Guru’s grace, they should introspect if they are making efforts to increase their capability and learn the finer aspects of that satseva.

If this is done, samashti sadhana can be performed more effectively. Through this, we can give Anand (Bliss) to the seekers who come under our satseva and responsibility. While it is the responsibility of the Government to solve the problems of society, it is the responsibility of the seeker entrusted with any satseva to resolve the problems of the seekers who are with him in the satseva.

Seekers shouldering responsibility should also make efforts to understand the difficulties or problems faced by seekers in satseva even before they are expressed. If we think broadly about establishing Ram Rajya, we will be able to realise this.

3. Seekers shouldering responsibility should contemplate on the perspectives in the Daily in relation to their satseva and the seekers performing it

Organisations, institutions, political parties, etc. often submit representations to the administration and the Government to resolve various problems. The Daily asks – ‘Why does the Government need to be told this ? Why do they not realise it on their own ?’

If seekers shouldering responsibility begin to contemplate that this perspective is applicable to us as well, they will realise where they are lacking in fulfilling their responsibility. If they understand the problems of seekers and the issues arising in satseva and make efforts to resolve them, love in them will increase, leading to broader thought of society, and the satseva will become better and pleasing to Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale.
