Only solution to all problems faced by Hindus is to awaken them and establish a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ : Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale

The devout Hindus attending the ‘Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Rashtra Adhiveshan’ (All-India Hindu Rashtra Convention) had the opportunity to attend a satsang (Spiritual discourse) with Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale. Some excerpts are being shared here :

1. In the ‘Hindu Rashtra’, since everyone will be sattvik, thoughts of casteism will not arise

Mr Pravin Dubey, Hyderabad : Can someone assure that after the establishment of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’, Hindus will not fight among themselves based on caste ?

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : In the Satyayug and Tretayug, did people fight among themselves ? When everyone performs spiritual practice and becomes sattvik (Spiritually pure), they won’t even think of fighting among themselves.

Mr Pravin Dubey : If we consider this, then everyone must become sattvik. But is this really possible ?

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : This is exactly what needs to happen. Only when everyone becomes sattvik will the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ be established. A sattvik rule is what constitutes a ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Right now, because most people are dominated by Raja-Tama components (Spiritually impure tendencies), we are living in this era of Kaliyug.

2. Hindus must perform spiritual practice and contribute to the establishment of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ in order to stop cow-slaughter in the country

Mr Raghavendra, Bengaluru : What must be done to stop cow-slaughter in India ?

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : Only after establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ will everything fall into place. Suppose I’m suffering from a cough and the root cause is tuberculosis (TB), then I must take medicines for TB. Once TB is treated, the fatigue, cough, and other symptoms will automatically go away. When one root cause is addressed, everything else is resolved too. What is that one root cause ? It is devotion, spiritual practice, or worship of God.

3. The ‘Hindu Rashtra’ will be established only through those who perform spiritual practice. When one does God’s work, God grants everything by Himself !

Dr Rajiv Srivastava, Prayagraj : God has assigned me the role of a teacher at the ‘Acharya Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Prayagraj’. I teach students about spiritual articles and verses from the Bhagawad Gita. I want to spread awareness in Hindu schools. For this, I seek Your blessings.

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : That is good. But what are other organisations doing ?

Dr Rajiv Srivastava : They are unable to walk the path of spiritual practice.

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : This mission will be accomplished only through those who follow the path of spiritual practice.

Dr Rajiv Srivastava : I seek Your blessings so that I can instill the values of Sanatan Dharma in students and awaken them.

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : If your efforts are sincere, you won’t even need to ask for blessings – God Himself grants them. Your attitude of humility is very good. Otherwise, people tend to develop ego thinking – ‘I did this’, or ‘We accomplished that’. But thinking – ‘It all happened due to the Guru’s blessings’ – is a very good and humble perspective.
