The Sun is the presiding Deity of the eyes. Practising Surya Namaskar facing the rising Sun strengthens the eyes, removes all sorts of eye defects, and you enjoy good eyesight even in old age.
Sadhana, in a way, is a kind of battle. Destroying the six foes, personality defects and ego, effectively means a fight against the mind. If this fight has a Divine foundation, victory is assured.
If spiritual practice was taught to children right from school, no one would become a criminal after growing up !
Residing in an Ashram leads to dissolution of the seekers’ mind, intellect and subconscious mind, leading to progress.
For self-fulfilment, the mind behaves as per its own whims and fancies. Hence, acting against the mind is by itself sadhana.

If children learn spiritual practice and take such an oath, they will not commit such crimes !
