Three individuals arrested for killing a pregnant cow and selling her meat

Hyderabad (Telangana) – A pregnant cow was stolen and brutally killed in an incident in Karimnagar District of the State. She was taken outside the village and killed. Her legs were amputated and skin removed. Saddam, Sheikh Taj and Manoj More have been arrested in this case. They are also accused of selling cow meat. When the incident came to light, the villagers were infuriated. A case has been registered under the Telangana Cow Slaughter Prohibition and Animal Protection Act, 1977.

The incident took place on the night of 31 st December at Molanguru village in Shankarpatnam area of Karimnagar District. Saddam, Sheikh Taj and Manoj More stole the cow of a villager named Gajula Kumar. After learning about the incident, the BJP workers of the District staged a protest on National Highway 563 connecting Karimnagar and Warangal.

Regarding this incident, BJP MP Mr Bandi Sanjay Kumar protested on the social media platform ‘X’. Broadcasting the video of the cow slaughter incident, he said, “It made my blood boil to see this. This act is appalling and heartbreaking. I request Telangana Chief Minister, Inspector General of Police and Karimnagar Police Commissioner to take strict action against the culprits, so that no one will dare to commit such acts in the future.”
