O’ Donors ! Offer wealth for the Dharma-related mission on Guru Purnima !

Guru Purnima is on 29.7.2026. This day is unforgettable for a disciple, since it is dedicated to expressing gratitude unto the Guru. On this day, the Guru’s blessings and the knowledge (that is beyond words) emitted by Him are active a thousand times more than usual. Therefore, the one who performs Guruseva and sacrifices wealth on Guru Purnima obtains the benefit of the Guru Principle a thousand times more.

1. The importance of the Guru in a disciple’s life

The Guru is the sagun (Materialised) form of the nirgun (Non-materialised) God Principle functioning on Earth. The Guru constantly strives to impart knowledge and bring about the disciple’s spiritual progress. Therefore, a disciple has no means of liberation without the Guru. Offering everything to the Guru and serving Him is the true Guru-dakshina (Offering in cash or kind to the Guru). As a result, the flow of the Guru’s grace remains continuous upon the disciple.

2. Offer for the Guru’s mission, that is, for Dharma-related mission, on the occasion of Guru Purnima

On this Guru Purnima, everyone has an opportunity to express gratitude unto the Guru by making maximum sacrifice of the body, mind and wealth. Therefore, seekers as well as well-wishers, should avail of spiritual benefits by participating in the propagation of Dharma and offering wealth for it.

As of now, we are transiting through a period of decline in Dharma; hence, according to the significance of times, working for the spread of Dharma is the most superior form of sadhana (Spiritual practice). Therefore, donating wealth for the mission of Saints, institutions, or organisations engaged in the spread of Dharma is essential according to the significance of times.

For many years, Sanatan Sanstha has been carrying out this mission in a selfless manner. Hence, donors can be assured that their offerings to Sanatan Sanstha will be utilised for the Dharma-related mission.
