Khalistanis heckle India’s ambassador Sandhu in Gurdwara in New York, USA

Accused Sandhu of involvement in Nijjar’ s murder !

New York (USA) – Khalistan supporters tried to heckle India’s Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu, who visited the Gurdwara on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti in New York, while other Sikhs intervened and protected him. Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the chief of the Khalistani terrorist organisation Sikhs for Justice, is said to have incited the Khalistanis for this attack.

After Indian envoy Taranjit Singh Sandhu arrived at the Gurdwara, the Khalistani supporters started questioning him about the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. They also tried to hit Sandhu alleging that he was involved in Nijjar’ s murder. Other Sikhs present in the Gurudwara intervened and protected Sandhu. Following this, Sandhu also guided the Sikhs present. He said that the Government of India has always stood behind the Sikhs. India had safely evacuated the Sikhs from Afghanistan. India’s relations with the Sikhs living abroad are never going to break.

Editorial Perspective

This incident shows how hollow is the security system in the US, which otherwise preach others. Indian Government needs to seek an explanation from the US Government regarding this.
