Washington (US) – The US Parliament has appreciated the efforts made by Indian spiritual leaders Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Acharya Lokesh Muni to establish peace and harmony at the global level. US MP Raja Krishnamurthy said that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has been guiding the people of the world for inner peace through the power of meditation and yoga for the last 40 years. This gives people inner peace. This can lead to a reduction in violence in the world.
The US Congress has recognised two Indian spiritual leaders, Gurudev @SriSri Ravi Shankar and Acharya Lokesh Muni, for their efforts towards global peace and harmony.

Regarding Acharya Lokesh Muni, Raja Krishnamurthy said that Acharya Lokesh Muni dedicated himself to Jainism, Buddhism and Vedic philosophy. He has helped reduce religious violence in many places. He has opened a World Peace Centre in Gurugram, India. His work has positively impacted people around the world.
