Kabul (Afghanistan) – Former Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh has warned that the disintegration of Pakistan has begun. Saleh criticised the Pakistani government for bombing civilians in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province a day earlier, calling the Pashtun people victims of neglect. Saleh wrote on the social media platform X, “What would have happened if the Pakistani Air Force had killed 23 civilians somewhere in Punjab?” He referred to the bombing of civilians in the mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that killed 30 people.

Pakistani airstrike in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Pakistan Air Force bombed a village in Tirah Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa early Monday morning, killing around 30 people. The Pakistan Air Force used Chinese-made JF-17 fighter jets to drop the bombs. AP reported that the Pakistan Air Force attacked a TTP bomb-making facility in Matre Dara village of Tirah Valley. However, locals say that the attack was not carried out on terrorist hideouts but on civilian homes. Pakistan says that the TTP is continuously carrying out attacks on its soil, killing Pakistani soldiers and civilians. Pakistan has accused the Afghan Taliban of providing shelter to the TTP.
