The common planetary combinations noticed in the birth charts of great Saints (who have worked to protect the Nation & Dharma), Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale, and their analysis

Reflecting on the past 400 years, we observe that Saints – Samartha Ramdas Swami in the 17th Century, Swami Vivekanand in the 19th Century, and Maharshi Aurobindo in the 20th Century – not only taught spiritual practices but also undertook significant missions to protect the Nation & Dharma. Similarly, in the 21st Century, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale is engaged in the protection of the Nation & Dharma.

On studying the birth charts of these four Saints, we find common planetary combinations that indicate their ability to undertake the samashti (for the sake of society) mission. This Article analyses these planetary combinations. In our previous Article, we discussed the ‘Planetary combinations indicating the samashti mission’ under the Section ‘Spiritual mission’. In this final part, we are providing information on their mission to protect the Nation & Dharma.

2B. Mission to protect the Nation & Dharma

Planetary combinations such as the conjunction of Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn in the birth chart, especially when placed in auspicious houses and signs, indicate the individual’s ability to undertake the samashti mission. The conjunctions of Sun, Mars, and Jupiter bestow courage, leadership qualities, efficiency, intelligence, radiance, and strength. These qualities enable the individual to lead society and provide direction. When such combinations are present in the birth charts of Saints, they not only teach spiritual practice but also lead society in protecting the Nation & Dharma. It is through such Saints, that the Divine performs its mission.

2B 1. Samartha Ramdas Swami

2B 1A. Awakening the emotion unto the Nation & Dharma in the people and inspiring them to dedicate themselves to the creation of ‘Hindavi Swarajya’ : In Samartha Ramdas Swami’s birth chart, the conjunction of Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter in the tenth (Karma) house, along with their auspicious aspect to Mars, forms a powerful planetary combination. This combination indicates Kshatratej (Radiance of a warrior), strength, capability, leadership, and creation of public awareness. During His time, prolonged Islamic invasions had weakened the people, diminishing their resistance. In such challenging times, Samartha Ramdas Swami, along with His disciples, went door to door to awaken the emotion unto the Nation & Dharma in the people. He united and inspired them to dedicate themselves to the creation of the ‘Hindavi Swarajya’ under the leadership of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. To attain strength, devotion, and intelligence akin to Deity Hanuman, Samartha Ramdas Swami established temples of Deity Hanuman and built gymnasiums in various places. His mission of reviving the Hindu Dharma and Nation was unprecedented. Many Nationalists such as Veer Savarkar, Lokmanya Tilak, Dr Keshav Hedgewar, and historian VK Rajwade drew inspiration from His mission.

2B 2. Swami Vivekanand

2B 2A. Inspiring the youth to become strong and work for the Nation’s progress, and taking Hindu Dharma to the global level : In Swami Vivekanand’s birth chart, the conjunctions of Sun, Mars, and Jupiter, with Sun and Mars placed in the Agnitattva (Absolute Fire Principle) signs Sagittarius and Aries respectively, form a powerful planetary combination. This combination signifies strength, radiance, intelligence, power, and leadership. Swami Vivekanand inspired Indian society to take pride in the great Hindu Dharma and culture. He encouraged the youth to become strong physically and spiritually. His slogan ‘Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached !’ motivated many. He taught Indians the Path of Karmayoga and inspired them to work for the Nation’s progress.

Addressing the ‘World Parliament of Religions’ in Chicago, He presented Hindu Dharma as inclusive, tolerant, and universal to the world, attracting global attention to India. Through His travels in USA and Europe, He gave hundreds of lectures on Spirituality, influencing many western scholars, philosophers, and politicians.

2B 3. Maharshi Aurobindo

2B 3A. Focusing on the development of human ‘chetana’ and showing the path for India to become the spiritual Guru of the world : In Maharshi Aurobindo’s birth chart, there is conjunction of Jupiter with Sun, Mars, and Uranus. This planetary combination is in the zodiac sign Cancer – the sign of Water Principle. This combination indicates the capacity for subtle, sensitive, and emotional samashti mission. Maharshi Aurobindo’s national mission was subtle and had a long-term impact. He gave spiritual form to the national mission. He said – ‘India must gain not only political freedom but also spiritual freedom. True revolution must occur in human chetana’. He proposed that true revolution occurs in human chetana; when consciousness evolves, the individual becomes strong, wise, discerning, broad-minded, and blissful. He showed the path for India to become the spiritual Guru of the world. His thoughts influenced many revolutionaries, leaders, philosophers, scientists, and artists.

2B 4. Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale

2B 4A. Recognising the attacks on the Nation & Dharma by anti-national forces and making a resolve to establish the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ in India : In Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale’s birth chart, Mars is placed in the first house, and Sun is in the eleventh (gain) house in a superior zodiac sign. Jupiter is positioned at the beginning of the first house. These combinations indicate leadership qualities, courage, readiness for action, organisational skills, and expansiveness. For decades, Secularists, Communists, Christian missionaries, fanatical Islamic groups, and so-called Rationalists have been attempting to destroy Hindu Dharma and Hindu culture in India. Recognising this, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale resolved to establish the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ in India.

Taking inspiration from Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale, Hindus are being united for establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. A lawful struggle is being waged against various attacks on Hindu Dharma, such as forced conversions, different forms of Jihad, denigration of Deities, Government control of temples, cow-slaughter. Inspired by Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale, devout Hindus in India are coming together and making efforts for establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Once the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is established in India, the highest universal values of Hindu Dharma will be protected, there will be all-round upliftment of society, and India will become the spiritual Guru of the world.

3. Similarity in the planetary conjunctions in the horoscopes of Saints

A. The horoscopes of the four Saints mentioned earlier show auspicious conjunctions between houses of Dharma (1st, 5th and 9th houses). As a result, they were blessed with intellect, fortune, sadhana from previous births, the Guru’s grace, etc.

B. These Saints’ horoscopes also show auspicious conjunctions between the house of Moksha (4th, 8th and 12th houses), leading to qualities such as renunciation, self-surrender, spiritual progress and undertaking of spiritual missions.

C. The horoscopes of these Saints reveal several identical planetary conjunctions, including Sun-Jupiter (Jnanshakti [Energy of knowledge]), Mercury-Saturn (Philosophy and spiritual service), Venus-Saturn (Detachment from Maya), Jupiter-Mars (Capacity for samashti mission), and Moon-Neptune (Ability to perceive the subtle dimension). The auspicious conjunctions between Mercury, Venus and Saturn support spiritual progress, while the auspicious conjunctions between Sun, Mars and Jupiter indicate the qualities necessary for the mission of protecting the Nation & Dharma.

D. Horoscopes of these Saints do not show any strong inauspicious planetary conjunctions. Hence, obstacles in life due to individual destiny are relatively minimal.

3A. Saints’ horoscopes are favourable for vyashti and samashti sadhana : From this analysis, it is evident that the horoscopes of these Saints are not only highly conducive for spiritual progress but are also of an exceptional order. The presence of auspicious conjunctions of Sun, Mars and Jupiter indicates that they have a broad outlook and a deep yearning to improve the condition of the Nation & Dharma. They did not focus only on their spiritual upliftment but made consistent efforts to empower society at physical, psychological & spiritual levels.

4. Despite favourable horoscopes, the Saints’ efforts are more important

Although these Saints had favourable planetary conjunctions in their horoscopes, what is more significant is their persistent efforts to attain their spiritual goal, total renunciation, the fight they waged against anti-national forces, and their constant concern for the welfare of society. These efforts were of the highest importance. In their lives and teachings, these Saints laid emphasis on efforts.

Planetary conjunctions in one’s horoscope may create particular life circumstances, which are beyond control; however, how one responds to the circumstances depends entirely on one’s efforts. These efforts are what lead an individual to success.

5. Through Saints, God performs the mission of re-establishing Dharma

Shrikrushna says in the Shrimadbhagwadgeeta – ‘Whenever unrighteousness rises, I incarnate to reinstate Dharma’. Whenever the spiritual level of mankind declines, God works through various Divine Incarnations to uplift it again.

Considering the past 400 years, God carried out the mission of reinstating Dharma through the medium of Samartha Ramdas Swami, Swami Vivekanand and Maharshi Aurobindo. In today’s times, God is performing this very mission through Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale.

God’s higher-level ‘chetana’ has been manifested in these Saints. As a result, the mission carried out through them is not based on the individual mind and intellect, but on the strength of the Universal Mind and Universal Intellect. Therefore, the impact of their mission is long-lasting.

The prevailing conditions in society and the mindset of people influence the mode of working of Incarnate Saints, their teachings, philosophy, Path of sadhana, etc. Hence, there is variation in these aspects. Yet, their aim is one – to lead mankind out of ignorance, narrow-mindedness and weakness, and guide them onto the Path of knowledge, broad-mindedness, strength and love, thus, revealing the Divine nature of God hidden within man !
