A Bangladeshi-origin woman participating in the protest said, “We empathise with the victims in Bangladesh. The atrocities on minorities there must stop.
Mere acknowledgment is not enough; the Bangladeshi government must ensure no further attacks occur and compensate the affected Hindus.

Hindus in the US make such demand to the US government. How many Hindu organisations in India are demanding such action from the Indian government ?
The current Government is behind the killings, arson and atrocities on students and police. The murderers and conspirators who harmed our country will be held accountable according to the law.
It appears that Farooq Abdullah must be thinking that attacks on Hindus are justified, but since he cannot say it openly, and at the same time he cannot express sympathy, he is making such statement.
