Though 20 Indian soldiers officially martyred in the combat, China did not declare its losses. The Global Times, a Government newspaper in China, reported 5 dead and 11 wounded.
The border conflict going on at the Galvan valley in Ladakh resulted in the clash on the 15th June night between India and China Armies. Both Armies fought with stones and sticks.

The tension between China and India has not de-escalated even after six rounds of discussions. All attempts to resolve the border dispute in the context of the Galwan Valley of Ladakh have come to nought.
