Mentions that those who destroyed temples faced destruction themselves
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated “Whether it was Kashi Vishwanath, Shriram Janmabhoomi, Mathura, Sambhal, Harihar Bhoomi, or Bhoj, temples were desecrated and destroyed in these places. The families of those who desecrated temples were eventually destroyed. Aurangzeb’s descendants now drive rickshaws. If peace is to be established in the world, Sanatan Dharma is the only solution. Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of India, and we must all work together to protect it.” Yogi Adityanath made these remarks while attending a religious ceremony. Prior to the event, he offered prayers at the Shriram Temple and Hanuman Garhi.
If Sanatan Dharma is safe, everyone will be safe
CM Yogi Adityanath further emphasised, “If humanity is to be saved in the world, the protection of Sanatan Dharma is critical. When Sanatan Dharma is safe, everyone is safe. Sanatan Dharma is not just a belief or religion; it discusses the welfare of all. It upholds the philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the world is one family). Throughout the history, Sanatan Dharma has provided refuge to people of every caste, creed, religion, and sect during times of adversity.”
Material progress cannot be achieved by ignoring religious heritage
CM Adityanath added, “This universe operates by the grace of Shri Hari. Material progress cannot be achieved by forgetting religious heritage. There must be harmony between religious heritage and material development. India’s traditions are rooted in its Deities, religious places, and values. If we progress while keeping these values in mind, India will endure.”
