Controversial statement made that Shriram was a non-vegetarian

Shirdi, Maharashtra – A case has been registered against Nationalist Sharad Chandra Pawar Party MLA Jitendra Awhad at Shirdi Police Station for hurting the sentiments of Hindus for making controversial statements about Hindu Deity Shriram. In this case, former district Vice-President of BJP Yuva Morcha Baburao Pensionwar had filed a complaint. MLA Awhad had made a controversial statement saying, ‘Ram who hunts and eats belongs to the Bahujans. Vegetarianism is being imposed on people by saying that he is the ideal of Ram. Ram, who lived in the forest for 14 years, used to hunt. Ram was exiled for 14 years, so how can he be a vegetarian ? Can anyone tell me that Ram used to eat fenugreek vegetables ?’
