Kedarnath’s Bhukunt Bhairavnath Temple desecrated by a person wearing shoes

Kedarnath (Uttarakhand) – A video of a man wearing shoes inside the Bhukunt Bhairavnath Temple in Kedarnath Dham here has been circulating on social media. He is seen wearing shoes, touching the idol and tampering with the charity box. Police have taken the matter seriously and registered a case against the accused person as well as the contractor company.

Rudraprayag Deputy Superintendent of Police Prabodh Kumar Ghildial said the Police have identified the person, who is a labour, working in a company engaged in the ongoing reconstruction work in the shrine.
