Muslim doctor crushes people with four-wheeler at Christmas market in Germany : 2 killed, 68 injured

Berlin (Germany) – A Saudi Muslim doctor named Taleb crushed ​​people with a four-wheeler at the Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, on the night of December 20th. 2 people were killed and 68 others were injured in this attack. 50-year-old Dr Taleb has been living in Saxony-Anhalt State since 2006. He carried out this attacks alone. His motive behind the attack is not yet clear. Before the attack, he had rented a BMW car.

Earlier, on December 19th, 2016, an Islamic terrorist had crushed the crowd at the Christmas market in central Berlin with a truck. 13 people were killed and more than 12 were injured in that attack. The accused terrorist was shot dead by the Police in Italy a few days later.

Accused Taleb is reportedly an atheist

Dr Taleb was granted refugee status in 2016. He is a consultant to psychiatrists. He practiced consulting in Bernburg, 40 km away from Magdeburg. Taleb is a former Muslim and now an atheist. He is a supporter of Germany’s anti-immigrant party ‘Alternative for Germany’. When Taleb was in Saudi Arabia, he could not express his atheistic views and perspectives; because Islam is the only religion recognized by law. When he came to Germany, he launched a website to help former Muslims in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries to flee those countries and find refuge in countries like Germany.

Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, has accused Taleb of terrorism and smuggling Middle Eastern girls to European countries. Germany had refused to extradite him to Saudi Arabia and had granted him asylum.
