Munich, Germany – India’s foreign Minister S Jaishankar indicated that if necessary, India could perform the role of a mediator to solve the Russia-Ukraine issue. He also clarified that India would not take this initiative on its own. Dr Jaishankar made this comment in an interview to a German journalist of economic daily, Handelsblatt. He added that India is prepared to help in the process of ending the Russia Ukraine war. As this conflict is a cause of concerns for everyone.

He added, history shows that Russia did not cause problem in India’s relations with other nations. Today India has increased it economic ties with Russia. The bipartite relations between the two countries are stable and friendly.
