Indian warship rescues 25 crew members including 22 Indians on board the British tanker
Jerusalem (Israel) – In a missile attack by Houthi rebels from Yemen, British oil tanker ‘Martin Luanda’ caught fire in the Gulf of Eden. INS Visakhapatnam rushed to the spot as soon as it received the distress call and began rescue operations. They brought the fire under control. There were 22 Indians and 25 crew members on the ship. All of them were rescued. Indian Navy has increased the number of warships in the Arabian Sea from 6 to 10 and started counterattacks on Houthi Rebels. On the other hand, the US and Britain are carrying out air strikes on the air base of Houthi Rebels in Yemen.
