Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and Nikhil Gupta

Washington (USA) – Indian citizen Nikhil Gupta was accused by the US Government of conspiring to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, Head of Khalistani terrorist organisation ‘Sikh for Justice’. He was subsequently arrested in Europe’s Czech Republic. Gupta has not yet been extradited to the US. US has not given any proofs against Gupta. They have refused to submit any proof of the conspiracy to kill Pannun, until Gupta is presented in the New York Court. Gupta’s lawyers are trying to prevent the extradition of Gupta to the US.

Former Spokesperson of the External Affairs Ministry, Arindam Bagchi, had said that India got ‘Councillor access’ (permission to the officials of the country to which the prisoner belongs, to meet the prisoner) of Gupta three times.

Nikhil Gupta is forced to eat pork and beef

Last month Nikhil Gupta’s family had filed a petition in the Supreme Court saying that Nikhil Gupta has been illegally held in a prison in Prague (Czech Republic). He is being force fed pork and beef though it is against his (Hindu) tradition. He is not given vegetarian food despite requests to the prison officers.

Editorial Perspective

Canada and the US have the same political nature. Both are protecting the Khalistani terrorists and accusing India. India should give an appropriate response to both.
